Losing and controlling your weight is very straightforward – you simply have to eat more sensibly and exercise a little. If you burn off more calories than you eat it will work!
So you start by adopting your favourite diet (it doesn’t have to be extreme) and you walk a little more to burn off the calories. You can still enjoy food and as you lose that excess weight you can even enjoy the exercise.
Hypnosis helps by giving you the determination and confidence to stick to your slimming programme. I provide you with a weight-loss chart that you complete weekly and at the initial consultation we agree a programme and a target weight that are realistic and achievable for you.
The amount of weight needed to be lost and the speed of weight-loss depends on each individual but, for example, a 2 stone (28 lb.) reduction @ 2 lb. a week would be achieved in 14 weeks and most people would find that a reasonable target to start with.
I normally see weight loss clients once every four weeks until they have achieved their target weight and then, as required, to maintain that new look.
I also deal with food cravings. Diets can be ruined by over indulging in sweet or fattening foods such as chocolates, cream cakes or take-away dinners. Hypnosis can help you to reject these foods.
